Toronto- and Los Angeles-based Tricon Films & Television has secured deals for more than 150 hours of factual and lifestyle programming with networks in North America, Europe, Asia and New Zealand.
Food Network U.K. has licensed seasons one and two, plus a one-hour Christmas special, of Bitchin’ Kitchen (45 x 30-minutes), which is billed as “the show where hipsters and foodies meet.”
Elsewhere, VMMA Belgium, Asian Food Channel and Zeste Quebec have picked up Restaurant Takeover (pictured) (26 x 60-minutes); while MAV TV US has bought food trivia show Ice Cold Cash (and Zeste Quebec has picked up the format); and Red Media Group Russia has licensed seasons one and two of Spice Goddess (26 x 30-minutes), of which Asian Food Channel has picked up season two.
Sky Italia has bought season one and Living Channel New Zealand has picked up season three of backyard makeover series Decked Out (40 x 30-minutes); Sky Italia has also picked up season one of House of Bryan (13 x 30-minutes), while Living Channel New Zealand has picked up season two of Deck Wars (12 x 60-minutes) and renewed season one of House of Bryan.
Finally, RTL Lounge Netherlands has picked up Love Trap (50 x 30-minutes) and seasons one and two of Family Renovation (23 x 30-minutes), while Musique Plus Quebec has bought the reality series Ex-Wives of Rock (14-30-minutes).
