Vancouver’s Picture Box Distribution has locked in a content agreement that makes many of its children’s programs available on the U.S. kids’ streaming provider AmebaTV.com and its entertainment portals.

The pact covers popular preschool programs like The Ocean Room (pictured) and Roll Play, produced by Toronto’s Sinking Ship Entertainment, as well the TVOKids’ catalogue which Picture Box represents internationally.

Ameba is available on just over five million Smart TVs and set top boxes in the U.S.

The deal with Picture Box was announced Monday during the Kidscreen Summit in New York City. KidScreen is a sister brand to Playback.
