Rogers appoints director of in-house productions

Rogers Media has named Sam Dynes as director of production for its in-house production unit, the company said Wednesday.

Repoerting to VP in-house productions Jordan Schwartz, Dynes will oversee production logistics and operations for the entertainment and lifestyle brands at City. She will also work with Rogers Media divisions across all platforms on creating integrated brand productions.

Dynes will continue to contribute to the company’s morning shows, Cityline, and Breakfast Television, including the new local BT show in Montreal.

Dynes has been on contract with Rogers Media as a project manager since Sept. 2011, working on multi-platform initiatives like City New Year’s Bash; the Hyundai Halftime Show featuring PSY, presented by KiSS 92.5 and video production on Rogers’ Chatelaine digital apps.

She previously worked as director of in-house production at CTV.

Dynes’ appointment is effective immediately.
