Former CTV exec Robert Hardy has joined Vancouver-based Force Four Entertainment as its new head of development.
Hardy joins the company after working as a freelance exec, following a stint with Paperny Films as VP development in 2011.
Previous to that, he managed western development for CTV and worked there for a decade.
He joins Force Four after it produced the inaugural season of The Bachelor Canada for Citytv and is producing the sitcom Seed for the expanding network.
“We have a long and productive creative relationship with Rob,” said executive producer John Richie in a statement.
Richie is also a partner in Force Four along with Rob Bromley and Gillian Lowrey.
Hardy will work with Force Four director of development Nicole Lawson and development producer Tara-Lee Novak.
His credits at CTV included Defying Gravity and the Force Four TV movie Playing for Keeps, also for Lifetime.
