Montreal’s Remstar Films is to release the theatrical feature jOBS in Canada after the Steve Jobs biopic closes the Sundance Film Festival.

In line with earlier distribution arrangements, Entertainment One will handle rights in all media for the Ashton Kutcher-starrer  in Canada, in collaboration with Remstar, excluding theatrical, VOD and French-language television rights in Quebec.

The film, by director Joshua Michael Stern, is currently in post production.

jOBS chronicles Steve Jobs rise as the Apple co-founder to become a digital visionary.

“We are proud to present the first feature film on one of the most fascinating visionaries of our time, an entrepreneur who revolutionized not only the world of technology, but its common use on a daily basis,” Maxime Rémillard, president and CEO of Remstar, said Wednesday in a statement.
