Toronto-based production and distribution company Canamedia has acquired exclusive Canadian distribution rights to the U.S.-based Cableready catalogue.
“We’ve known, respected and been inspired by the guys at Canamedia over the years, so it’s a pleasure to partner with them. As Canada becomes a tougher place to do business, we believe Canamedia can guide our producers and programs through the maze,” said Cableready president and CEO Gary Lico in a statement.
The Cableready catalogue includes more than 1,100 hours of programming. That includes titles from producers like TV Guide, LMNO Productions, REELZ and SnagFilms.
Other titles include Lost Treasure Hunters (pictured); the Alison Sweeney and Ali Landry-hosted Hollywood Girls Night; various TV Guide specials like Favourite TV Weddings and 100 Hollywood Crimes; and Snag Films indie films like Splinters and We Made This Movie.
