Hot Docs has shaken up its board of directors, with the National Film Board of Canada’s Louise Lore leaving her ex-officio seat.

Also stepping down is former broadcaster and producer lobbyist Norm Bolen, a former Hot Docs co-chair, and Yanick Létourneau, president of Peripheria Productions and Danijel Margetic, president of Balkan Films.

Moving onto the Hot Docs board is Barry Avrich, CEO of Melbar Entertainment Group, Charlotte Engel, producer at Rock Yenta Productions, and Katarina Soukup, president and producer at Catbird Productons.

The 20th of Hot Docs is set to run from April 25 to May 5, 2013.
