Indie broadcaster Stornoway Communications has hired Kate Tinnerman as director of sales and affiliate relations.
Tinnerman will stick-handle affiliate relations with Stornoway’s broadcast partners, and develop partnerships.
“Kate has a track record of making things happen, on time and beyond expectations,” Martha Fusca, president and CEO of Stornoway Communications, said in a statement Friday on news of the appointment.
Tinnerman comes to Stornoway after executive stints at Toys-R-Us, Polygram Filmed Entertainment, Sony Music, Paramount Pictures and Morningstar Entertainment.
Stornoway runs a stable of Canadian specialty channels, including ichannel, The Pet Network and bpm:tv.
