Toronto-based Picture Box Distribution Inc. announced Monday that it had reached an international sales agreement with TVO.

The deal will see the company manage global distribution for several of the public broadcaster’s on air and online kids’ properties, starting with the Tumbletown series, which includes Tumbletown Reads, Tumbletown Tales and Inside Tumbletown.

The series stars Tumbleweed the hamster and friends, and aims to teach children about reading, math and finances.

The Tumbletown series is just the latest addition to Picture Box’s growing kids’ catalogue, which already includes series such as CBC Kids’ What’s Your News? and Treehouse’s Roll Play.
