Amanda Plummer joins The Hunger Games’ sequel Catching Fire

Lionsgate has cast Amanda Plummer in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

The actress will play the role of Wiress in upcoming film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ novel Catching Fire.

Plummer, the daughter of Oscar-winning actor Christopher Plummer, is best known for her movie credits like The Fisher King and Pulp Fiction.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be directed by Francis Lawrence, and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force, in tandem with producer Jon Kilik.

Lionsgate will release the second installment of the teen movie franchise on November 22, 2013.
