Peace Point Entertainment Group has launched a foreign distribution arm, Peace Point Rights.

The indie producer hired Eric Muller, most recently vice president of international sales for European distributor Powercorp International, to serve as VP of international sales and acquisitions at Peace Point Rights.

Muller will be joined by Julie Chang as vice president of business affairs and North American acquisitions.

Chang was most recently vice president of business and legal affairs with Behind the Scenes Services.

Peace Point CEO Les Tomlin (pictured) said expanding into distribution is a natural extension for an indie producer ten years in the business.

Tomlin added Muller will use his international contacts to supply programming to foreign broadcasters, while Change will bring her “tremendous business acumen and a natural eye for exceptional content.”

The Peace Point Rights slate includes 40 half-hours of Bake with Anna Olson, a lifestyle series hosted by TV chef Anna Olson, and SuperBodies, a factual series that explores the athleticism of the human body.
