Indie producer Pyramid Productions has hired Jason Ford (pictured, right) as its executive director of development, based in Toronto.

The move follows Calgary-based Pyramid in January installing former Much MTV group senior programmer Tracy Martin (pictured, left) as its VP of content and strategy in Toronto.

Jason Ford also comes over to Pyramid from Bell Media, where he worked for nine years at MuchMusic, most recently as a supervising producer.

Pyramid is best known for factual TV shows like Bollywood Top Ten Best, and The Criminal Mind and Man on a Mission for Tuff TV in the U.S.
