The CBC has secured the exclusive Canadian rights to the Titanic: Blood and Steel miniseries from the De Angelis Group and Take 5 Productions.

The 12 x 60-minute series about how the Titanic was built comes from the same production team behind The Tudors and Camelot, which the pubcaster earlier acquired.

The miniseries stars Chris Noth, Neve Campbell, Kevin Zegers and Derek Jacobi.
