YTV Canada and Cartoon Network stateside have renewed Almost Naked Animals from 9 Story Entertainment for a third season.

The series will now add 12 more episodes to the Canadian cartoon that already has 26 half-hours in the can, and which launched on YTV Canada in January 2011 and on the Cartoon Network in June last year.

Almost Naked Animals also airs in Australia, France, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Latin America.

The animated series portrays free-spirited animals in their underwear as they run a beach-front hotel like kids at a summer camp.

The series is based on the designs of Noah Z. Jones, creator of the Disney Channel series Fish Hooks.
