Entertainment One (eOne) has sold the AMC western drama Hell on Wheels to Fox and ABC2 in Australia, Sky New Zealand, HBO in Latin America, Sundance Channel Asia, DBS Yes in Israel and Fox Africa.

The Entertainment One Television and Nomadic Pictures series, starring Anson Mount, Colm Meaney and Dominique McElligott (Moon), was developed by Endemol USA and debuted well on AMC.

Shot in rural Alberta, Hell on Wheels is set in post-Civil War America and examines the struggles and hardships of rebuilding the country.

The series was created, written and executive produced by Joe and Tony Gayton.
