ACTRA’s rank and file has overwhelmingly ratified a new labour deal with Canadian advertisers and agencies.
The actor union voted 98.5% in favor of a three-year national commercial agreement with the Association of Canadian Advertisers (ACA) and the Institute of Communication Agencies (ICA).
The latest NCA agreement, which followed five months of negotiations, calls for a 2.5% rise in minimum performance fees in each year of the new deal, on top of a 1.5% increase in residual payments.
The new deal to 2013 come into effect on October 31, 2011.
