Fall TV: CBS dramas get full-season orders

More good news for Citytv this week, as its one-hour drama, Person of Interest, has been picked up for a full-season order by CBS.

The J.J. Abrams executive-produced Person of Interest airs in Canada on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Citytv.

CBS also ordered a full season of Unforgettable (pictured), which stars Poppy Montgomery as a police detective with a rare memory disorder, which airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on CTV.

Person of Interest joins 2 Broke Girls, New Girl, Suburgatory, Happy Endings and Revenge, which have all been picked up for full seasons on Citytv.

In addition to Unforgettable, CTV has seen Whitney and Up All Night purchased for full first seasons this fall.

CTV also this week saw the succesful debut of a somewhat more risky pick, the fantasy-drama Once Upon A Time, which debuted Sunday night at 7 p.m. to the tune of 1.76 million viewers, according to BBM Canada. The series stars Ginnifer Goodwin (Walk The Line) who stumbles into the strange mysteries of a small town, which her long-lost son is convinced is under the curse of an evil spell.
