Picture Box sells Brides of Beverly Hills to TLC

Backed by the stateside success of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Canadian indie distributor Picture Box Distribution has secured a U.S. market sale of the Canadian-made Brides of Beverly Hills reality TV series to TLC.

The local series from indie producer Planetworks features women buying wedding dresses at the Renee Strauss for the Bride salon in Beverly Hills.

Picture Box started shopping the Canadian series at MIPCOM, and has the worldwide sales rights to the reality series, excluding English Canada.

The Brides of Beverly Hills, comprising 13 half-hours, already airs on Slice.

TLC will debut the Canadian series on Friday, Oct. 28.

Indie Picture Box Distribution has offices in Vancouver and Toronto.
