Russell Peters has some bright star wattage for his upcoming Christmas special on CTV and The Comedy Network.

The comic/actor has booked appearances by Pamela Anderson, Jon Lovitz, Michael Bublé, Scott Thompson, Faizon Love, Ben Mulroney and Ted Lange (The Love Boat) for A Russell Peters Christmas Special, which is now in production in and around Toronto.

The one-hour special will combine stand-up comedy, sketch comedy, stop-motion animation and musical performances.

Peters and Anderson, who have both hosted a Junos Awards show on CTV, are to jointly perform a sketch comedy routine.

A Russell Peters Christmas Special is produced by Round 2 It Entertainment and CPI Pictures, in association with Insight Productions and Bell Media.

Russell Peters and Clayton Peters are producing, and also share executive producer credits with John Brunton and Barbara Bowlby.

Shannon Farr is supervising producer and Henry Sarwer-Foner is directing.
