Breakthrough Entertainment is teaming up with Canadian TV chef David Rocco for another Italian culinary pilgrimage.

Breakthrough and Rocco’s Rockhead Entertainment are producing a six-episode lifestyle/cooking series David Rocco’s Amalfi Getaway, to air on Food Network Canada and the U.S.-based Cooking Channel, starting in 2012.

The coproduction follows Breakthrough earlier distributing another Rocco-hosted cooking and adventure series, David Rocco’s Dolce Vita.

The latest show, David Rocco’s Amalfi Getaway, will see the celebrity chef travel round Amalfi, in southern Italy, seeking out its regional food traditions.

Each episode of the six-part series will feature a specific culinary theme.
