Boutique indie kids TV producer Wizard Hat Productions is teaming up with German partner Optix Entertainment GmbH to coproduce the eco-themed animated series Thinkheads.

Wizard Hat Productions is already developing the cross-platform series for the TVOKids block, and announced a new German partner at MIPCOM 2011.

“We believe that the show’s humour and globally relevant theme will resonate with a wide international audience,” said Attila Levai, managing director of Optix Entertainment, in a statement.

Optix Entertainment is no stranger to international coproductions, having already coproduced the animated series The Doodlebops with Cookie Jar Entertainment.

Thinkheads portrays a futuristic family who take environmental sustainability and recycling to comic heights.
