Pepper nabs Emmy for Kennedys role

British Columbia native Barry Pepper was recognized for his work on Muse Entertainment’s The Kennedys last night at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards.

The Canadian-born actor won the Emmy in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie category for his role as Bobby Kennedy.

Pepper was also recognized for the role at the recent Gemini Awards for Canadian television in Toronto.

The Kennedys also earned three Creative Arts Emmys and led the field of Canadian and Canadian coproduced shows at America’s television awards.
