Kirk D’Amico’s Myriad Pictures will handle international sales for Bill Guttentag’s political drama Knife Fight, which stars Eric McCormack and Rob Lowe.
As part of a deal unveiled at the Toronto International Film Festival, Myriad will shop the indie outside North America. The film follows three political candidates running for public office and stars Julie Bowen, Jamie Chung and Carrie-Anne Moss.
“Knife Fight is a compelling satirical comedy which comes at the perfect time as we embark on an election year,” D’Amico, a veteran executive producer and international sales agent for Canadian films, said in a statement.
Myriad plans a Knife Fight trailer for the American Film Market in November, with the film expected to screen in early 2012.
