Director Tim Southam (One Dead Indian, House, Bones) has signed on to direct the pilot episode of Cracked, a new drama series for the CBC.
The one-hour psychological crime drama is inspired by producer Calum deHartog’s experiences as a former police officer.
DeHartog is also co-creator of the White Pines Pictures-produced series, alongside with Tracey Forbes (Flashpoint, The Bridge).
Other producers on board are Susan Morgan and Caroline Murphy, as well as executive producers Peter Raymont, Janice Dawe and Forbes, with Bernard Bourret as supervising producer.
Principal photography is slated to kick off in October in Toronto.
