Slice is to air a Canadianized Four Weddings reality series after Shaw Media licensed ITV Studios’ prime time international format.

Four Weddings Canada, to be localized by Proper Television, follows four brides attending each other’s wedding to judge the nuptials on the dress, food, venue and the overall experience.

The bride with the highest score at the end of each episode wins a dream honeymoon.

The reality series, based on an original Four Weddings series in Britain from ITV Studios, will help Slice dominate in wedding-themed programming, said Barbara Williams, SVP of content at Shaw Media.

“Wedding content is a fundamental part of the Slice schedule and Four Weddings Canada will be a perfect addition to the already robust slate of programs celebrating a couple’s big day,” she said in a statement.

Canadian indie producer Proper Television, which is led by former British TV producer Guy O’Sullivan, has an output deal with ITV’s international distribution arm.
