Ruba Nadda is reuniting with the team behind Cairo Time for her next feature film, Inescapable.

The political thriller about a father’s desperate search for a daughter that goes missing in Syria was written by Nadda, who will also direct the picture.

Alexander Siddig, a co-lead in Cairo Time, will top-line Inescapable, with Christine Vachon executive producing.

Other Cairo Time alumni joining Nadda’s latest movie include Danny Iron of Foundry Films, who will co-produce Inescapable with Out Of Africa Picture Company, which also co-produced The Bang Bang Club.

Inescapable, a Canada-South Africa co-production, has backing from the Harold Greenberg Fund.
