Food Network Canada greenlights two Paperny series

Vancouver’s Paperny Films is heading into production this spring on two original series for Food Network Canada.

Bob Blumer (Glutton for Punishment, Surreal Gourmet) is taking his hosting duties across the globe with World’s Weirdest Restaurants (13 x 30 minutes), which turns its focus to eccentric and extreme dining experiences.

Meanwhile, Eat St. (13 x 30 minutes, pictured) has landed a second season, continuing to explore street food across North America. Hosted by James Cunningham, season one debuted on Food Network Canada in April, and is slated to hit US airwaves on the Cooking Channel. Additionally, a free app from the App Store has already hit more than 100,000 downloads.
