Entertainment One has hired Jennifer Bennett away from CCI Entertainment to bolster its licensing and merchandising program.

Bennett becomes vice president of licensing and merchandise, North America, for the Canadian producer, based in Los Angeles.

She served as executive vice president of licensing and brand development at rival CCI Entertainment.

Bennett’s appointment follows Peppa Pig, Entertainment One’s successful British pre-school TV series, launching on Nick Jr. in the U.S. market.

Bennett will turbo-charge the North American licensing and merchandising program for Peppa Pig and other Entertainment One kids TV brands.
