The Top Chef team of Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz will give the non-fiction keynote address at the upcoming Banff World Media Festival.

The co-founders of Magical Elves Productions will ponder the current state of reality TV as Canadian and international delegates do business in Banff.

“In the last decade, reality programming has literally exploded, with an incredible variety of shows dominating primetime line ups around the world,” Ferne Cohen, festival executive director, said of the Magic Elves Banff address.

The duo’s other TV credits include Project Runway, Bands on the Run and Project Greenlight.
