Arctic Air, a new dramatic series, has been commissioned by CBC Television from Vancouver-based prodco Omni Film.

While more details on the series have yet to be revealed, Arctic Air has been slotted in for the winter 2012 season.

Omni Film has produced Ice Pilots NWT (pictured) and Defying Gravity. Earlier this month, it went into production on new factual series Pyros and along with co-pro partner Windfall Films, was commissioned by History Canada, WGBH Nova and Channel 4 on the special The Return of the Dambusters.
