Preschool adventure series Olive the Ostrich is spreading its wings, as it’s been picked up by Distribution360 for worldwide distribution, excluding the UK.
The storybook-style CGI animated series (52 x five minutes) comes from London, UK studio Blue-Zoo, and revolves around the titular character and her imaginary journeys. The eps incorporate real pictures drawn by children which have been submitted via an integrated online feature.
“Olive is a unique property that has been brought to life by children for children. Core to Olive is story making and creativity – both important ingredients in creating a successful property,” said Oli Hyatt, Blue-Zoo director in a statement.
The series will premiere in the UK on Nick Jr. this September.
