GlassBox Television has expanded its exec team with Marcia Martin stepping into the newly created position of SVP creative content, commissioned and in-house programming.

In her new role, Martin will be collaborating with both in-house and indie producers as she manages all aspects of original content. That includes development, production, co-pros and licensing for Bite TV, Aux TV and Travel & Escape channels.

“As we expand original entertainment and lifestyle offerings on our channels, Marcia’s talent for developing unique content with style and a fresh attitude is perfectly suited to GlassBox viewers,” said Raja Khanna, GlassBox co-CEO said in a statement.

Martin’s career has seen her serve as VP production for CHUM, leading development, management and the launch of many of its specialty channels, including Space, Star! and FashionTelevision. She also had stints as a production executive on MuchMusic VJ Search: The Series and Canada’s Next Top Model and as SVP, executive producer, specials for CTV.
