Hot Docs unveils Special Presentations

This year’s Special Presentations subjects at Hot Docs runs the gamut from funnyman Conan O’Brien (Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop), puppeteer Kevin Clash (Pictured, Being Elmo: A Puppeteer’s Journey) and chess whiz Bobby Fischer (Bobby Fischer Against The World), as the fest reveals its 26 documentary features.

A number of films will also be seeing their world premieres, including The Hollywood Complex (US), Dolphin Boy (Israel), as well as international premieres of Becoming Chaz (US), The Bully Project (US) and In Heaven, Underground: The Jewish Cemetery in Berlin-Weissensee (Germany).

Sundance award-winning films are also on board, from Position Among the Stars, Vodka Factory and Buck, as well as works from Oscar-winning filmmakers James Marsh (Project Nim) and Alex Gibney with Alison Ellwood (Magic Trip).

The 2011 Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival runs April 28 to May 8 in Toronto.
