Looking to honor film and TV production that raise awareness of enviro issues, The Environmental Media Association (EMA) and The Green Living Show are introducing the Canadian Environmental Media Awards.

It’s the inaugural EMA Awards for this country, though they’ve been presented in L.A. for the last two decades.

Categories include English-language Canadian dramatic feature films, English language Canadian one-off documentaries, English language Canadian non-fiction TV series, as well as an award of excellence.

A jury of Canuck film and TV industry, Green Living and EMA reps will decide the winner.

Appropriately, the awards will be handed out during Earth Month on April 16 in Toronto.
