The Vancouver-shot comedy web series Health Nuts from Chasing Pictures will soon kick off on APTN HD, backed by YouTube webisodes and a Facebook game.

Health Nutz follows a former pro hockey player, down on hard times who inherits the titular juice bar, starring Kevin Loring (Where the Blood Mixes) and Ali Liebert (Year of the Carnivore) along with guest stars Brian George (Seinfeld); Lexa Doig (Andromeda).

The series is produced and written by Jason Friesen and Dasha Novak, with the online campaign from Ayogo Games, along with support of APTN, BC Film, the CMF and Bell Development Fund.
