Centennial College’s Centre for Creative Communications is looking for the next big thing in children’s media, and it has ten $50,000 federal development grants to help you out.
It’s on the hunt for innovative proposals from Canuck digital media folks, in creative, interactive, tech, business and social entrepreneurs for children’s media and multi-platform projects. The grants are available to help small and medium companies in the kids tech sector find that up and coming project.
The grants come from a strategy with the federal government and colleagues to foster innovation and productivity in southern Ontario to develop innovative tech and services. Business will also be contributing a minimum of $25,000 toward the project.
Newly formed think tank kidsmediacentre and Applied Research and Innovation Centre at Centennial will also work with the qualified partners.
The kidsmediacentre will host an information session for interested parties on February 24.
