Indie producer Portfolio Entertainment continues to add to its executive ranks by naming Nancy Yeaman as director of development.

Yeaman moves to Portfolio from Decode Entertainment, where she spent 12 years, most recently as director of development, stick-handling series like Franny’s Feet, The Latest Buzz and Poppets Town.

Yeaman will beat the industry bush at Portfolio for new projects, and take them from concept to pre-production.

The appointment of Yeaman, who will report to company co-founders and co-CEOs Lisa Olfman and Joy Rosen, follows the producer signing up Louis Fournier as vice president of sales and acquisitions, and promoting Julie Stall to vice president of production.

Portfolio is also racking up international sales for its marquee kids TV series The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!, which is co-produced by Portfolio and British production partner Collingwood O’Hare Productions.
