Teaming up to develop new animated kids series Camp Lakebottom are Skywriter Media & Entertainment Group and Teletoon.

The half-hour comedy targets the six to 11 age group, bringing the audience into a creepy summer camp where the boisterous kids are having the time of their lives.

Camp Lakebottom is created by Betsy McGowen and Eric Jacobson, developed by Skywriter’s Meghan Davies and Teletoon’s Athena Georgaklis with executive producer Kevin Gillis (Atomic Betty, Jimmy Two Shoes) from Skywriter.

Writers include Shelly Hoffman and Rob Pincombe (Kid vs Kat) and the series is designed by Jam Filled’s Phil Lafrance and Jamie Leclaire (Jimmy Two Shoes, Crash Canyon).

The TV series is also being developed for cross-platform digital opps for users, employing augmented reality to create avatars to check in at an online camp and play games.
