Corus releases OWN programming sked

Viewers who love Oprah will get to fill their plates this March as the celeb’s self-named network launches in Canada.

Corus Entertainment has released the programming lineup for the new channel, which includes a prime-time roster filled with self-help style lifestyle shows and Oprah-themed fare.

Highlights include What Would You Do? OWN Edition on Monday nights at 7 p.m., in which hidden cameras capture people’s reactions to provocative events (starting March 7); Searching For… which starts Wednesday, March 2 at 9 p.m. and follows the work of a genealogist who reunites people with their lost loved ones; and Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes, which premieres on Tuesday, March 1 for the channel’s launch but will run in back-to-back slots on Friday nights starting at 7 p.m. for the rest of the series.

Other programming on OWN includes Ask Oprah All-Stars, Oprah Presents: Master Class, Enough Already! with Peter Walsh, The Gayle King Show, Cristina Ferrare’s Big Bowl Of Love, and In the Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman.

Canadian shows on the net include Anna & Kristina’s Grocery Bag, Fearless in the Kitchen and Healthy Gourmet.
