Fresh from helping produce CTV’s business comedy series Stock and Awe, indie producer Leanna Crouch (pictured) has inked deals to produce two one-hour documentaries for the CBC’s fitness sidebar, and a one hour pilot for Investigation Discovery in the U.S. and Canada.
Crouch’s Lively Media production shingle has been tapped by the CBC’s Factual Entertainment Unit to produce run run revolution, a two hour documentary series on young unfit Ottawa kids training to run the Boston Marathon.
The project, which started shooting January 17, is directed by Nadine Schwartz and will air in the late spring as part of the CBC’s Live Right Now-branded programming.
Crouch is also at work on the an Investigation Discovery pilot with the working title The Accused, which illustrates the personal toll of two wrongful conviction cases.
