CTV continues to stock up its mid-season schedule by acquiring the Mad Love sitcom for a Valentine’s Day launch.
CTV acquired the 13-episode comedy about a quartet of twentysomethings in New York City.
What dips Mad Love in maple syrup is two of the series’ leads, Sarah Chalke and Tyler Labine, are Canadians.
The other two leads, Jason Biggs and Judy Greer, top-line a comedy about young friends where two are falling in love as the other two despise each other, at least at the start.
Mad Love will be simulcast with its CBS airdate from February 14 at 8:30 p.m., as part of CTV’s Monday night comedy block.
At 8:00 p.m. Mondays, CTV is also loading another new bullet in the chamber for its mid-season schedule by airing the new comedy Mr Sunshine, which stars Matthew Perry and Allison Janney, and is also from Sony Pictures Television.
