eOne picks up Foreverland rights

Entertainment One has grabbed the Canadian distribution rights to Foreverland, Maxwell McGuire’s feature about a young man stricken with cystic fibrosis who goes on a road trip to Mexico.

The romantic comedy, now shooting in Vancouver and Baja, Mexico, is from Screen Siren Pictures, with Trish Dolman, Christine Haebler and Aaron Gilbert sharing producer credits.

McGuire wrote the Foreverland script with Shawn Riopelle.

The movie’s ensemble cast includes Juliette Lewis, Max Thieriot and Thomas Dekker.

Cameron Lamb and Jonathan Vanger are executive producing.

Financing for Foreverland came from Media House Capital, Telefilm Canada, Stealth Media, Entertainment One and the Harold Greenberg Fund.
