Indie producer Portfolio Entertainment continues to add to its executive ranks, with Lorraine Rotz filling the newly-created position of vice president of finance.

Rotz, who has held senior finance positions at venture capital player Lumira Capital and most recently at Autohound Media Solutions, will oversee the finances for Portfolio’s expanding production and distribution arms.

The appointment of Rotz, who will report to company co-founders and co-CEOs Lisa Olfman and Joy Rosen, follows the producer signing up Louis Fournier vice president of sales and acquisitions, and promoting Julie Stall to vice president of production.

Portfolio is also racking up impressive international sales for its marquee kids TV series The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! (pictured), which is co-produced by Portfolio and British production partner Collingwood O’Hare Productions.
