Bruce Greenwood will pick up ACTRA’s Award of Excellence next Thursday in LA. The award, recognizing the actor’s contribution to the Canadian film and TV industries, will be presented by ACTRA National president Ferne Downey at the Canadian Residence of David Fransen, Consul General of Canada in Los Angeles.

Greenwood has a huge and impressive list of credits to his name, including roles in Barney’s Version, Star Trek (pictured), Thirteen Days, I’m Not There, The Sweet Hereafter, Knots Landing, St. Elsewhere and even The Beachcombers.

Previous recipients of the Award of Excellence include Eugene Levy, Leslie Nielsen, Sandra Oh, Kiefer Sutherland and Tonya Lee Williams.
