While the partners have agreed that there will not be a season two of The Bridge, CTV president, creative content and channels Susanne Boyce noted that “our focus is on the future,” and that the broadcaster wants to build on its relationship with producer Craig Bromell, actor Aaron Douglas (pictured) and eOne.
Bromell and CTV are in the works on a project that revolves around personal and professional lives of a police drug squad. The broadcaster has also formed an ongoing creative relationship with Douglas through a non-exclusive development deal.
As for eOne, CTV is developing a character-driven legal drama with the prodco and writer Pam Davis (Flashpoint, House).
CTV also announced back in December that it was picking up a pair of new one-hour dramas.
