Director Joe Carnahan and actor Liam Neeson (pictured) last worked together in Vancouver shooting The A-Team.
Now the two Hollywood players have returned to start shooting next week the Ridley Scott-produced survival thriller The Grey at Vancouver Film Studios through to March 3.
The Burnaby-based shoot will also star Joe Anderson, Dallas Roberts, James Badge Dale and Dermot Mulroney in an indie picture about an oil pipeline team that fights off a pack of savage wolves in the Alaskan wilderness after a plane crash.
Wolf Productions is stick-handling the local shoot, with Ridley Scott Associates’ Jules Daly and Ross Fanger producing.
