Taking over for Stephanie Azam on her maternity leave, Karynn Austin is stepping in as interim national feature film executive for the English Language Market at Telefilm Canada.

Austin comes to Telefilm with a film industry career behind her, boasting marketing and distribution experience from her time at Equinoxe Films, TVA Films, Viewer’s Choice Canada and Malofilm. She’s honed her skills in marketing and promo strategies, and script analysis.

“I trust that the National Feature Film team is in good hands and I look forward to working with Karynn on our upcoming projects,” said director, project financing Michel Pradier in a statement.
