Calling all Canuck doc filmmakers, the Don Haig Foundation and Hot Docs are looking for the winner of its annual Don Haig Award to take home a $20,000 cash prize.

Sponsored by specialty net documentary, the award is presented during the Hot Docs awards presentation, which last year went to co-directors Philip Lyall and Nimisha Mukerji for 65_RedRoses (pictured). Previous recipients include Bretty Gaylor, Yung Chang and Hubert Davis.

All doc filmmakers across Canada are eligible to submit an application, to be judged by a jury of reps from the Don Haig Award Committee, documentary, Hot Docs and a past award recipient.

Deadline is Friday, January 28.
