Entertainment One International has sold the over-the-air rights to The Walking Dead zombie drama to Five in Britain.

DBS Satellite also acquired the pay TV rights to the AMC drama for Israel, while Orange picked up the premium pay rights for France.

Entertainment One International earlier partnered with Fox International Channels to distribute the U.S. cable drama outside of North America.

Starring Andrew Lincoln, the TV adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s Image Comics series portrays the weeks and months that follow a pandemic zombie apocalypse.
