Writer/director Angus McLellan (Her) has begun pre-production on his newest feature, Holding Pattern. The film will shoot in 2011 over three weeks in Guelph, Ontario. The project features actor Ryan Barrett (Dead Genesis, Janus).

Holding Pattern is produced by Chad Archibald and Philip Carrer, who between them have produced and directed over 50 music videos, including work for members of Slipknot, Swollen Members, Hed p.e. and The Prodigy.

The film is a gritty thriller that revolves around the impact of an unseen cataclysm on a typical suburban neighborhood.

Funding comes from the Ed Video Media Arts Centre and angel investors.
